Mission of CYF Worship team

We are a people learning… We are a community of people who work toward improving our effectiveness at leading worship and as disciples of the Lord Jesus. We desire to reflect the likeness of Jesus by multiplying, growing and maturing through the disciplines of personal worship, prayer, study, fellowship and transparency.

 

We are leaders and shepherds of the people here at St. Peter’s cathedral Rugarama with regard to worship. We desire worship experiences that brings others into the very presence of the Lord, thereby allowing a profound opportunity for the Holy Spirit to touch souls, heal hearts, break the chains of bondage and ignite a passion for Jesus and the work of His Kingdom.

 

‘Others’ includes not only our body of believers at St. Peter’s Cathedral Rugarama, but we are also looking outward with a heart to gather those ‘unconvinced’ around us (neighbours, friends, work associates, etc.) to point them to the life-giving knowledge and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that we enjoy. ‘Others’ also embraces the value that we at the Valley Vineyard are just a part of God’s greater Church and we strive to have God get all the glory, not us.
